The Fatback Band (abrégé plus tard en simplement Fatback) est un groupe de funk et de disco américain populaire dans les années 1970 et 1980. Connu pour ses tubes rhythm and blues (Do the) Spanish Hustle, I Like Girls, Gotta Get My Hands on Some (Money), Backstrokin' et I Found Lovin', le Fatback Band est surtout réputé comme le groupe auteur du single King Tim III (Personality Jock) en 1979, généralement considéré comme le premier single hip-hop de l'Histoire^[1].
